Faces

The world is mysterious. Many People are wearing many masks. Lying is commonplace. People are fake with each other. How many times have you asked someone how they were only to hear the response, "I'm great and you?" We have all done it. We are unable to let people in. Unable to make our selves vulnerable in the slightest way. Why do we act like everything is fine? The world is unkind to all except those who bend and twist to its demands. Even then though, those who bend to the worlds demands die alone and tortured. So, why do we pretend we are fine when everyone around you is not fine? When did having problems become a bad thing? Our strengths lie in each other and most importantly God. When people band together as one they can do anything. Think about it this way, would you rather pick up a car by yourself or with ten others by your side? Obviously with ten beside you. I have noticed that its usually not until things become life threatening that people begin to speak up. This is usually in cases of cancer, extreme debt, deaths in the family, etc. etc. Why do we wait until things become almost to bad to say anything? Why are we afraid? People are prone to be greedy and bad yes but at the heart, at the core of all humans in good. 9/11 is proof. People all over the United States pulled together to lift America from the ashes. Americans from end to end, of every race and nationality bonded as one. It was honestly the first time in my life that i have witnessed true patriotism and stands to be the only time to this day. People want to help i think. I have always believed in the good in people, even if it is to my own detriment. We shouldn't hide behind our fear. take a chance. Your life could be changed by that one time. People let themselves be controlled by "what ifs?" You know, "what if this happens", or , "what if that happens?" usually though, we only focus on the bad part of the what if. i wanna suggest asking it the other way. What if something good happens? what if you are the differnece in someones life? think about it
